Donations play a vital role in sustaining Miami Learning Experience and providing an education to students who face significant challenges due to their disabilities. While tuition partially covers our annual expenses, it alone is insufficient to fund our belief that all students, regardless of their abilities, should have equal opportunities to learn and grow without limitations. The remaining operating expenses are covered through grants, parent giving, board contributions, and fundraising events.

Fashion Show
Marked as the highlight of our fundraising efforts, this event garners enthusiastic backing from the local community. The attendance typically surges upwards of 1,000 guests. Executed with professional precision, the show is a choreographed spectacle where students from various age groups transform into runway models.
Radiating pride and a profound sense of achievement, they confidently strut down the 120-foot runway, exuding an air of supermodel flair reminiscent of the catwalks of Paris and Milan. Amidst the play of spotlights, pulsating music, and a flurry of camera flashes, our students parade in the latest seasonal fashions.

Contribute to Walk With Me
In 2012, a group of four high school freshmen from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart united with a shared goal: to make a lasting mark on the special needs community by supporting Miami Learning Experience. Their brainchild, the annual Walk With Me event, allowed MLE to tap into support from neighboring high schools.
In addition to its financial achievements, Walk With Me has consistently nurtured the emergence of student leaders and propelled students from more than ten different schools into proactive involvement. With every passing year, the walk's guiding mission and vision rally Student Ambassadors from local schools to unite in a common purpose. Currently over 1,000 individuals, mostly students, walk side by side with MLE students and families.
Choose MLE on Give Miami Day
Support Miami Learning Experience on Give Miami Day, a community-wide day of online giving held every year on the third Thursday of November. Your contribution through GiveMiamiDay.org will help fund our school's quality programs and bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the true cost of providing a comprehensive educational experience for children and young adults with special needs.
